1) |
Requirements for
submitting an Application for a New Booklet :-
· Original Passport (including subsequent additional booklets if
any)
· New Passport form (Form 1.pdf)
· 3 latest passport size photographs. Please See
Photograph Requirements Document)
· Copy of iqama
.
In case passport is renewed after one-year on its normal expiry,
an affidavit (AFF7.pdf) to be submitted along with a letter from the
sponsor with a fine of SAR40/-.

2) |
A New passport can also be issued in case appearance of the
passport holder has gone considerable change with the passage of time.
In such cases, an application (Form 6.pdf) may be submitted along with
the above-listed requirements. |

3) |
An
applicant has the option to apply for a normal new booklet of
36 pages (SR 155 Riyals) or the jumbo new booklet of 60 pages
(SR.190 Riyals). |

4) |
The
applicant should submit the application in person for identification
or through authorized representative |

5) |
Recent photographs showing frontal view of full face in civilian
clothes taken in a studio (Polaroid photographs and photographs with
dark glasses or uniforms are not accepted) should be submitted along
with the application

6) |
Applicants are advised to ensure that their application in the
prescribed format is complete in all respects; that all columns are
correctly and legibly filled up and no column left blank, unfilled/unresponded
to or vaguely filled with a dash, tick, etc. All signatures in the
application should be with ballpoint pen. |

|
7) |
It is
an offence under the Passport Act 1967 to furnish false information in
the application. Passport facilities could be denied on grounds of
suppression of material information, submission of incorrect
particulars, willful damage/loss of passport or for unauthorized
change/tampering. The Passport can be impounded or revoked for
violation of one or more of the provisions of the Passport Act |

8) |
The
validity of the passport, in case issued for a
short-validity initially by Embassy of India, Riyadh, may be extended to its full ten-year validity on
application in the Miscellaneous Services Form (Form
2.pdf)along with
PP
forms in triplicate with photograph, free of charge. |

9) |
If
the short-term validity passport was not issued at Riyadh, the application (Form
1.pdf) should be filled
and submitted along with three photographs and copy of iqama. In such
cases, passport will be issued initially for a year and its remaining
validity will be extended only on receipt of confirmation from the
concerned passport office.- |

10) |
For renewal of
passport after ten years
(final validity) or five years in case of minor's passport, application for issue of new passport should be
made as per details in New Passport. |

11) |
In the case of Passport issued by PIA (Mission/Post/Passport Offices
in India) other than Embassy of India, Riyadh, if the records are
available in the computer system, the time required is 4 working
days in normal course or as per the date printed in the
acknowledgement receipt in respect of E/I, Riyadh; and in case, records are not available in the computer system,
in normal course, one-year SVP will be issued and the remaining
validity of the passport will be extended to its full term on receipt of confirmation
from the Passport Issuing Authority concerned.
