(Time Required : Documents for attestation may be submitted to the Embassy between 0840 hrs and 1130 hrs on any working day and are generally returned between 1600 hrs and 1700 hrs the same day)
1) Sponsorship Declaration

Requirements for attestation of Sponsorship Declaration:-
- Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
- Salary Certificate attested by Chamber of Commerce with typed English Translation.
- Original and one photocopy of the Sponsorship Declaration Form (Format1.pdf | Format1.doc) to be signed before the Consular Officer of the Embassy.
2) Power of Attorney (Property Matters)

Requirements for attestation of Power of Attorney (Property Matters):
- Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
- Two recent Passport Size ( 35 mm x 45 mm) photographs.
- Original and one photocopy of the Power of Attorney to be signed before the Consular Officer of the Embassy.
3) Power of Attorney (other than Property Matters)

Requirements for attestation of Power of Attorney (other than Property Matters):-
- Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
- Original and one photocopy of the Power of Attorney to be signed before the Consular Officer of the Embassy.
4) Change of Profession

The passport booklet does not mention the holder's Profession. However, on application the Embassy may attest an affidavit of the applicant declaring change of his profession. Requirements for attestation of Change of Profession Affidavit:-
- Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
- The original and a photocopy of the Affidavit (AFF9.pdf | AFF9.doc) - to be signed before the Consular Officer of the Embassy.
- Relevant skill / degree certificate
- Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
- Letter from sponsor indicating present profession.
5) Change of Religion SR.40
The passport booklet does not mention the holder's Religion. However, on application the Embassy may attest an affidavit of the applicant declaring his religion. Requirements for attestation of Religion Declaration Affidavit:-
- Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
- The original and a photocopy of the Affidavit (AFF10.pdf |AFF10.doc) - to be signed before the Consular Officer of the Embassy.
6) Affidavit for Obtaining Child's Passport in India

Requirements for attestation of Affidavit for Obtaining Child's Passport in India:-
- Original Passport (including subsequent additional booklets if any)
- Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
- The original and a photocopy of the Affidavit (AFF1.pdf | AFF1.doc)- to be signed before the Consular Officer of the Embassy.
- Photocopy of child's birth certificate.
7) Salary Certificate

Requirements for attestation of Salary Certificate:-
- Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
- The original and a photocopy of the Salary Certificate duly attested by the Saudi Foreign Office / Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
8) Academic Degree / Certificate

Requirements for attestation of Academic Degree / Certificate:-
- Original Passport (including subsequent additional booklets if any)
- Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
- If original degree / certificate is to be attested:
(i) Original and a photocopy of the Degree/Certificate duly attested by the General Administration Department of the concerned State/ Ministry of HRD and the Consular Section, Ministry of External Affairs, Patiala House, New Delhi.
(ii) Original and a photocopy of the Mark Sheet
- If a copy of the degree / certificate is to be attested:
(i) Original and two photocopies of the Degree/Certificate duly attested by the General Administration Department of the concerned State and the Consular Section, Ministry of External Affairs, Patiala House, New Delhi.
(ii) Original and a photocopy of the Mark Sheet
9) Marriage Certificate

Requirements for attestation of Marriage Certificate
- Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
- The original and a photocopy of the Marriage Certificate duly attested by the concerned State Government / Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi.
10. Life Certificate

Requirements for attestation of the Life Certificate (for pensioners):-
Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
Original and one photocopy of the Life Certificate in the Format prescribed by the concerned Bank/Institution to be signed before the Consular Officer of the Embassy.
11.Bank Account Opening Form

11) Requirements for attestation of the NRE Account Opening Form:-
Photocopy of inside cover pages and other relevant pages of the passport.
Original and one photocopy of the Account Opening Form as prescribed by the concerned Bank/Institution to be signed before the Consular Officer of the Embassy.
(Time Required : Documents for attestation may be submitted to the Embassy between 0840 hrs and 1100 hrs on any working day and are generally returned between 1600 hrs and 1700 hrs the same day)
*Note : An additional Fee of SR 8 (Saudi Riyal Eight) is levied on each Service as contribution towards the Indian Workers Welfare Fund (IWWF). All fees are to be paid in Saudi Riyals in Cash at the Counter along with application. Fees once paid are not refunded, even if the application is withdrawn or the service refused for whatsoever reason.
