1) |
In case no more blank pages are available in the passport, a New Booklet (valid
for ten years) can be issued on
submission of application. |

2) |
Requirements for
submitting an Application for Additional Pages / New Booklet :-
· Original Passport (including subsequent additional booklets if
any)
· New Passport form (Form 1.pdf)
· 4 latest passport size photographs
· Copy of iqama

3) |
A New Booklet can also be issued in case appearance of the
passport holder has gone considerable change with the passage of time.
In such cases, an application (Form 6.pdf) may be submitted along with
the above-listed requirements. |

4) |
An
applicant has the option to apply for a normal newl booklet of
36 pages (SR 155 Riyals) or the jumbo new booklet of 60 pages
(SR.190 Riyals). |

5) |
The
applicant should submit the application in person for identification
or through authorized representative |

6) |
Recent photographs showing frontal view of full face in civilian
clothes taken in a studio (Polaroid photographs and photographs with
dark glasses or uniforms are not accepted) should be submitted along
with the application |

7) |
Applicants are advised to ensure that their application in the
prescribed format is complete in all respects; that all columns are
correctly and legibly filled up and no column left blank, unfilled/unresponded
to or vaguely filled with a dash, tick, etc. All signatures in the
application should be with ballpoint pen |

|
8) |
It is
an offence under the Passport Act 1967 to furnish false information in
the application. Passport facilities could be denied on grounds of
suppression of material information, submission of incorrect
particulars, willful damage/loss of passport or for unauthorised
change/tampering. The Passport can be impounded or revoked for
violation of one or more of the provisions of the Passport Act |

9) |
The
validity of the passport, in case issued for a
short-validity initially, may be extended to its full ten-year validity on
application in the Miscellaneous Services Form (Form 2.pdf) free of
charge. The passport may be submitted at the Embassy from 0845
hrs to 1130 hrs on any working day and is returned between 1530 hrs
and 1630 hrs on the same day. |

10) |
If
the passport was was not issued at Riyadh, the application (Form
2.pdf) must be accompanied by a recent photograph and photocopy of the
passport pages containing details of the applicant, address,
validity etc. Its validity would be extended only on receipt of
confirmation from the concerned passport office. |

11) |
For renewal of
passport after ten years
(final validity) or five years in case of minor's passport, application for issue of new passport should be
made as per details in New Passport. |

12 |
In the case of Passport issued by PIA (Mission/Post/Passport Offices
in India) other than Embassy of India, Riyadh, if the records are
available in the computer system, the time required is 3 working
days; and in case, records are not available in the computer system
then 30-45 days or receipt of confirmation from the PIA concerned
whichever is earlier.
