General Information about
Consular Tours to
Eastern/Northern Provinces
The services rendered on the spot during consular tours to other
cities are :
-
Renewal
of
passports issued at Riyadh
(Gratis). The renewal of limited validity passports is done free of
cost.

Attestation
of
documents – Sponsorship Declaration, Power of Attorney, Affidavits,
school certificates issued in KSA, Salary certificates, Life
certificate, NRE A/c forms, change of profession affidavits (academic
certificates are not attested on the spot and are brought to Riyadh)
-
Issue of
NRI Certificate/Birth Certificate
-
ECNR
endorsement
-
Change of address
observation (if passport issued from Riyadh
with more than one year from the date of issue)
-
Miscellaneous services like corrections in Riyadh issued passports etc.
-
No visa
services are provided during these tours.
Applications for issue of new passports in lieu of expired
passports, additional booklet, police clearance certificates,
change of address (if passport is not issued from Riyadh or if
passport is issued from Riyadh but with less than one year from the date
of issue), Birth Registration and all other services requiring
issue of a new booklet or a reference to the original Passport Issuing
Authority (PIA) are brought to Riyadh. The new
passport/attested documents are delivered the next week at Dammam or the
next fortnight in the case of other cities.

Weekly Consular camp at Dammam
The Embassy
is holding a weekly consular camp at the
Indian International School, Dammam every Thursday/Friday
for the
benefit of our nationals residing in the Eastern province.
Working
hours of the Consular camp at IIS, Dammam:
Thursdays
: Submission of Documents from 0800 to 1300 hrs & 1400 to 1600 hrs
Delivery of Documents from 1600 to 1700 hrs
Fridays
: Submission of Documents from 0800 to 1300 hrs & 1400 to 1600
hrs
Delivery of Documents from 1600 to 1700 hrs

Consular
Tours to other cities
The Embassy
also undertakes periodical visits to other cities in the Northern and
Eastern provinces for rendering passport and consular services. These
visits are widely publicized in the local media and all Indian nationals
living in these areas should avail themselves of the facility. The
